At we aim to help you the customer to get exactly what you want from your printing job. The quality of the job depends crucially on the artwork you send to us.

The artwork should be in Press ready PDF (font embedded) format in CMYK with minimum 300dpi resolution. We process only in CMYK format. If there are any Spot colours in the artwork, it will be converted to CMYK. We cannot take responsibility for colour reproduction of RGB files.

There should be 3mm bleed around the finished artwork.

What is Bleed?
We require Bleed to allow the tolerance of our guillotines (the machine used for cutting your job after printing). If any of the design finishes exactly at the edge of the required finished size, then without bleed, when the job is trimmed it causes slight white edges to the finished print. By extending the background colour or image beyond the edge of finished job, this defect can be rectified. We recommend that elements intended to go to the very edge of the finished job should extend 3mm beyond the edge.

For example in a case of an A5 flyer [148mm x 210mm] you need to extend the background 3mm around the edges which makes the final size 154mm x 216mm.
